2.5 moles of oxygen produces how many moles of water?

The reaction: CH4 + 2 O2 + 2 H2o
Please explain it so i can understand

i just have the answer

Thus, when 2.5 mol of oxygen reacted with hydrogen, 2 * 2.5 mol = 5 mol of water is produced.
