The Russo-Japanese War was a war that is not in good memory of the Russians. It was a war in which Russia was humiliated numerous times with a series of defeats. Also, the war cost the Russians a lot, more than they were able to take. It left the people demoralized, but also angry. The policies of Nicholas II were terrible and not effective, and this war just showed that perfectly well. The people have already been very displeased about the situation in the country, and the war was the last drop that triggered them to act and seek change for their country, eventually resulting in the Russian Revolution.
