WaveLENGTH is a LENGTH. As such, any unit of LENGTH can be used to describe it.

The most widely used units are:

-- meter (and its multiples, kilo, deca, centi, milli, micro, nano, etc.)

-- foot

-- inch

wavelenghts are lengths. they are measured in distances.
