You could take a 2 out of every term

2(x^2 + 5x + 6) = 0

You would then need to find two numbers that add to 5 and multiply to 6

In this case, those numbers are 2 and 3

2(x + 3)(x + 2) = 0

Then to find the roots (or what x equals), set each term equal to 0

(2=0) (reject)

x + 3 = 0
x = -3

x + 2 = 0
x = -2

{-2,-3}
