X/2 + 3/2 < 5/2 give solution ​

Start with


(x)/(2)+(3)/(2)<(5)/(2)

Multiply the whole equation by 2. Since 2 is positive, we don't need to switch the inequality sign:


x+3<5

Subtract 3 from both sides:


x<2
