Did you notice that equation next to the word "SPEED" up at the top, before question #1 ?

Speed = (distance) / (time)

All five of these questions are answered by using that same equation. This is a big part of the reason why the equation is printed before these questions.

Every one of these 5 questions GIVES you a distance and a time, and you're supposed to find the speed. EVERY ONE of them !

For each of these questions, take the distance, divide it by the time, and the quotient you get is the speed.

Speed = 90m/45s = 2ms-¹

Speed = 39500m/9000s = 43.89 ms-¹
