I am having a hard time simplifying (x^2 - 4x + 8)(2x - 1), can you help me out?

2x^3 +3x^2 + 12x - 8

Explanation:

(x^2- 4x + 8)(2x-1)

we expand the notation by using (2x-1)

2x(x^2 - 4x + 8) -1(x^2- 4x +8)

= 2x^3 -8x^2 +16x -x^2 + 4x -8

collect like terms

2^3 - 8x^2 - x^2 +16x + 4x -8

2x^3 + 7x^2 + 20x - 8
