F(x) = x +4 and g(x) = 12x -6 what is f(3) + g (-1)

(A) 22

(B) 33

(C) -11

I am having a brain fart can someone explain how I get the answer to this?

Answer:

(C) -11

Explanation:

The given functions are;


f(x)=x+4

Plug in x=3.

This implies that;
f(3)=3+4=7

and


g(x)=12x-6

Plug in x=-1

This implies that;
g(-1)=12(-1)-6=-18


f(3)+g(-1)=7+-18=-11
