Let

L-----> the length of the table

W----> the width of the table

the area of the table is


A=LW

Convert yards to feet


L=(5)/(6)\ yd=(5)/(6)*3=(5)/(2)\ ft


W=3L


W=3((5)/(2))=(15)/(2)\ ft

substitute in the formula


A=(5)/(2)((15)/(2))=(75)/(4)=18.75\ ft^(2)
