The concentric model of geography doesn't show the gentrification of neighborhoods as certain classes start to take over cities. Gentrification is a new practice in which contractors and building owners convert run-down, typically dirty areas of cities and transform them into nicer, cleaner neighborhoods, which will increase land pricing and decrease crime rates. This creates feuds between newer, wealthier owners, and the previous ones of the homes who were kicked out, unable to meet such high prices.
