Answer:

y+2 = 2/3(x+1)

y= 2/3x - 4/3

Explanation:

If we want a line parallel to y=2/3x+7, it will have the same slope

m = 2/3

We have a point (-1,-2), so we can use point slope form

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y--2 = 2/3(x--1)

y+2 = 2/3(x+1)

If we want the line in slope intercept form, distribute the slope

y+2 = 2/3 x +2/3

Subtract 2 from each side

y+2-2=2/3x +2/3-2

y = 2/3x +2/3 - 6/3

y= 2/3x - 4/3
