Answer:

The area of shaded = 13.09 cm^2

Explanation:

360 /6 = 60

So the shaded area is 1/6 of the circle

Area of circle = pie r^2

So area of shaded = 1/6(pie r^2)

= 1/6 * 3.142 * 5^2

= 13.09 cm^2

THE AREA OF A CIRCLE = πr^2

Here π = 3.142

r = 7.5

now A = πr^2

A = 3.142× 7.5×7.5

A = 176.7375cm^2
