1. In order to procure fossil fuels, or even to burn them, we create a great deal of pollution. All of the pollution that is being created is extremely bad for the Earth because it contributed to global warming.
2. When we create new mining cites, we remove trees and soil that was once the home to plant, animal, and insect life.
3. Oil is a very useful fossil fuel, it is used to power many things. But due to the very dangerous nature of fossil fuels, an explosion in Mexico in 2010 caused 210,000,000 U.S. gallons of oil to spill into a gulf. This spill lead to the drowning and poisoning of immeasurable amounts of aquatic animal life.
