Just put the values given for x in the equation to find y

-4(-2)+5=13

-4(-1)+5=9

-4(0)+5=5

-4(1)+5=1

-4(2)+5=-3

Answer:

\begin{array}cx&y\\-2&13\\-1&9\\0&5\\1&1\\2&-3\end{array}

Explanation:

Put x = -2, x = -1, ... , x = 2 to the equation of the function y = -4x + 5 and calculate the values of y:

for x = -2

y = -4(-2) + 5 = 8 + 5 = 13

for x = -1

y = -4(-1) + 5 = 4 + 5 = 9

for x = 0

y = -4(0) + 5 = 0 + 5 = 5

for x = 1

y = -4(1) + 5 = -4 + 5 = 1

for x = 2

y = -4(2) + 5 = -8 + 5 = -3
