Explain the difference between speed, velocity and acceleration. Give an example of each.

speed is the rate that something is able to move or operate, velocity is the speed of something in a given direction, and acceleration is somethings capacity to gain speed within a short time.

examples.

speed: 45 mph or cleaning a room in 10 mins

velocity: 75 mph

acceleration: dropping a ball, speeding up, slowing down, turning
