What causes adhd (which part of the brain is involved and biopsychological factors that impacts emotions memory etc.)

Most researchers point to genetics and heredity as deciding factors for who gets attention deficit disorder (ADHD or ADD) and who doesn’t. Scientists are investigating whether certain genes, especially ones linked to the neurotransmitter dopamine, may play a role in developing ADHD.

ADHD probably results from a combination of factors. In addition to genetics, researchers are looking at possible environmental factors. They are also studying how brain injuries, nutrition, and the social environment might contribute to ADHD.
