Cesar bought 2 bottles of juice that each hold 2 quarts and another bottle that hold 1 1/2 gallons of juice. How many quarts of juice did he buy?

To completely solve the equation, we have to add the complete sum of quarts together.
This is only possible if we convert the 1 and a half gallons of juice to quarts and add it to the rest.
There are 4 quarts in a gallon, so we have to multiply the number of gallons (1 1/2) by the amount of quarts in a gallon(4)
1.5*4=6
Now add it to the rest.
Since there are 2 bottles of juice holding 2 quarts, the total of the bottles is 4 quarts.
Now add the quarts from the gallon bottle.
