You didn't list any reasons yet but, off the top of my head, amendments are changes to the constitution, first of all. Secondly, the constitution was written briefly on purpose, so that the future of America could make changes to it as they please. I'm curious if that's one of the answers?

Answer:

Hi from your question you didn't list out the reasons but from the comment section you did so the complete question will be:

Which selection below is one of the primary reasons that the Constitution can be amended?

A. to create a balance of powers between the states

B. times and concerns of government may change

C. individual citizens must be able to amend this document

D. to prevent the judiciary from becoming too powerful

amendments are carried out on a constitution because times and concerns of Government may change ( B )

Step-by-step explanation:

Amendment of the constitution is the changes/alterations made to an already existing constitution so that the constitution will accommodate the future needs of the people (which also can be said to be change in times) and also accommodate unforeseen incidents which might occur do to change in the concerns of the Government.

In constitution Amendment by the Government the legislatures carry out this function with the assent of the president

each states also have their own constitution as well and amending a constitution by the government cannot create balance of powers between states, individuals citizens cannot amend the constitution, amending the constitution is not used to make the judiciary too powerful too.
