Gina knows that her dad has epilepsy and has occasional seizures. When her dad has a seizure, she responds with appropriate first aid. The seizure lasts for 2.5 minutes and does not reoccur. When the seizure is over, her dad is tired and confused but appears to be fine. Gina is debating calling 911. What should she do?

Gina should call 911 because all seizures should be reported to hospitals.
Gina should call 911 because the seizure lasted for an especially long time.
Gina does not need to call 911 because there is no need in this specific case.

It would be option C because the seziure lasted only 2.5 minutes if it lasts 5 or longer than she should go and call 911.

You should call 911 if it’s 5 minutes or longer, or if they’ve never had one before.
