How do you do this:

Write an equivalent expression for 1/y^-1/4 using positive exponents.

{(1)/(y)}^{(-1)/(4)}


=\huge {y}^{(1)/(4)}

where 1/4 is a positive exponent.

REASON:

Using the relation


{a}^(-n)= {(1)/(a)}^(n)
