2,050 = 50 + 10(h * w),

where h is height, w is width and h = 2w.

2,050 = 50 + 10(h * w)

(subtract 50 from each side)

2,000 = 10(h * w)

(divide each side by 10)

200 = h * w

(substitute 2w for h)

200 = 2w * w

(divide each side by 2 and simplify)

100 = w * w

100 = w²

(find the square root of each side)

10 = w

So if the width is 10, then since the height is twice the width, then the height has to be 20.
