(P(StudentHasLice and Positive))/(P(Positive))

  • P(Positive) = 0.1692 + 0.0492 = 0.2184
  • P (Student has Lice & Positive ) = 0.1692

So P(Student has lice | Positive ) =
(0.1692)/(0.2184)=0.7747
