The answer is confirmation bias.

Confirmation bias is defined as the tendency to seek out information that would confirm the beliefs that the person has. Jahmal is doing this by only mentioning evidence that supports his belief: that women are worse drivers than men. He doesn’t seek out information that are more valid, for example, instead he just relies on an occurrence that happens to his female cousin only.
