The CCC is the Civilian Conservation Corps.
This organization was part of FDR's New Deal Program. The goal of the New Deal was to help the American economy recover from the Great Depression. The CCC was one of the agencies created by Roosevelt. This organization helped by employing millions of young, single men in the US between the ages of 18-25. Along with this, the CCC helped Americans in general as it helped to develop state and federal lands. This included the development of new roads, bridges, parks, and other public facilities.
