since it's a ratio, we know that everything in the time collumn will be multiplied by the same thing to get the distance. There is only one that we have both of so lets use it.

6 times what equals 9? we can just use algebra real quick to find that the ratio is 9/6 or 3/2. Witht hat we can work on the rest of the values.

The first, we don't know time, but t*3/2=3 so t=2

third row we don't know the time but t(3/2)=15 so t=10

fourth row we have the time so 12(3/2) = 18
