the total surface area is 440 because the triangles total to be 56 cm and the three rectangle total to be 384 so if you add those you get 440 for the SURFACE area

Answer:

Total surface area = 624 + 56 = 650 cm²

Explanation:

The given prism has 2 triangles and 3 rectangles. we will find the surface area of individuals and then add them

So the area of triangles is (length x height)/2 which will be

Area of triangles = 8 x 7 = 56/2 = 28

Since there are two triangles so 28 x 2 = 56

Now

Area of rectangles is length x width

Area of rectangles= 26 x 8 = 208

Since there are 3 rectangles so 208 x 3 = 624

Total surface area = 624 + 56 = 650 cm²
