Just like the president, the government of Georgia also possess the right to veto a certain bill in order to prevent the bill from becoming the law.

When this happen, the bill will need to wait for 40 days before the House/Senate have the chance to override the veto. ( in order to do this, they need to get more than 2/3 of the votes to override the veto)
