Answer:

The answer is A.

Explanation:

Given the following choices:

A. y = 4x + 2

B. y = 2x + 4

C. y = 2x – 2

D. y = x – 4

When x equals 0, y equals 2 which is also the y-intercept.

Using the slope-intercept form of y = mx + c where c is the y-intercept, the only choice with y-intercept of +2 is A.

The answer is A. I determined this simply by plugging each equation into the graph. A was the only one that worked for all of them.

Good luck!
