Answer:

V = 64a^6+48a^4b^4+12a^2b^8+b^(12)

Explanation:

The volume of a cube is V = s*s*s. Substitute
s = 4a^2 + b^4

V = (4a^2 + b^4)(4a^2+b^4)(4a^2+b^4)\\V = (16a^4 + 4a^2b^4 + 4a^2b^4 + b^8)(4a^2+ b^4)\\V = (16a^4 + 8a^2b^4+b^8)(4a^2+b^4)\\V = 64a^6 + 32a^4b^4+4a^2b^8+16a^4b^4+8a^2b^8+b^(12)\\V = 64a^6+48a^4b^4+12a^2b^8+b^(12)
