A circular disc has a diameter of 24, what is the area? Also with a disc having a radius of 6 what is it's circumference?

Area = π x r^2

Area = π x 12^2

Area = 144π or 452.16 square units. ( using 3.14 for PI)

Circumference = 2*PI *radius

Circumference = 12π or 37.68 units ( using 3.14 for PI)
