Explanation:

The general rule for reflection of a point along y-axis is:

  • y-coordinate of the point will stay the same
  • the sign of x-coordinate will be inverted i.e. positive sign will change to negative and vice versa.

i.e. the point (x, y) after reflection along y-axis will be (-x, y)

The given point is (-5, 4). Using the above rule for this point, the new point after reflection will be (5, 4) i.e same y-coordinate but x-coordinate with inverted sign.
