I'm pretty sure the simplified answer of (4x^3y^-5)^4 would be 256x^12/y^20 (this is a fraction)

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

256x¹²y⁻²⁰

Explanation:

I hope by (4x^3y^-5)^4 you meant (4x³y⁻⁵)⁴

Then;

(4x³y⁻⁵)⁴ = (4x³)⁴(y⁻⁵)⁴

= (4⁴x³ˣ⁴)(y⁻⁵ˣ⁴)

= (256x¹²)(y⁻²⁰)

= 256x¹²y⁻²⁰
