Sarah uses a recipe to make 2 gallons of her favorite mixed-berry juice. Two of the containers she plans to use to store the juice have a capacity of 1 quart. The rest of the containers have a capacity of 1 pint. How many pint-sized containers will Sarah need? Explain.

12 because 4 pints make half a gallon and 2 quarts make half a gallon too.But since we already have two quarts in,we need to remove two pairs of pints to make a perfect 2 gallon mixed-berry juice
