10, imagine a line going through those 2 points. make that point into a hypotenuse of a right triangle. The length of the triangle is 6 and the height is 8 because the 6-0=6 (x values) and -8-0=-8 (y values). so use pythagorean theorem


{6}^(2) + {8}^(2) = {z}^(2) \\ z= 10
