If AB is 8 feet, and BC is 6 feet, which is the length of AC? A. 10 feet B. 14 feet C. 24 feet D. none of the above

If AC is the hypothenuse, then the answer is A. 10 feet.

The equation you would use is a squared+b squared=c squared

So basically it would be (8x8)+(6x6)=c squared

Then you would add the known numbers together: 64+36=100

And last you find the square root of the total (10) and that’s your answer

Also next time please include the fact that it’s a right triangle or has a 90 degree angle
