For -8< x <= 10, -8 is excluded in the interval because x must be GREATER THAN (since -8 isn’t greater than -8) and 10 is inclusive in the interval because x must LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 10 (since 10 is greater than or equal to 10).

So, using what we know, we put it together into interval notation: (-8, 10]
