If you could figure this one out I would be much obliged :D

How does a steam engine do work?

A. Steam expands and spins an axle
B. Steam causes wheels to turn
C. Steam turns a turbine
D. Steam enters a cylinder and pushes a piston.

Please explain why. Thanks!

D because the steam compresses then pushed the cylinder in the engine
