Answer:

a²+b²=c²

Step-by-step explanation: so the way that pythag. theorom works is that you have the length of two sides of a right triangle: for example if you have the length of two legs of a right triangle and are finding the hypotonese(the long side) one example could be the two legs being 3 units and 4 units. a stands for one leg and b stands for the other leg. C stands for the hypotenese. so if the two legs are 3 and four, then 3 squared plus four squared = 25 because 9 +16=25 if you get the square root of 25 then you will get c. This means that c is 5. Hope this helps:)

Answer:

a^2+b^2 =C^2

Explanation:

ok so basically in a right triangle there are two sides that make the right angle of the triangle those are called the legs they can be either a or b the line connecting those legs is called the hypotenuse this is always c so and example can be the legs are 2 and 3 so 2^2 +3^2= c^2 all you have to do to find the hypotenuse is to add 2^2 which is 4 and 3^2 which is 9 together which is 36 and 36=c^2 we are not done yet so all that is left to get c alone is to find the square root of 36 which is 6!!! so c=6 and to check all you have to do is 2^2+3^3=6^6 and both sides should be 36 so it is true!!!!
