If you combine like terms in the first equation you would would get 19x + 0 not 19x + 1. So 9x + 0 + 10x is not equivalent to 19x + 1.

Hey there!

  • \bold{9x+0+10x}

  • \bold{Combine \ like\ terms}

  • \bold{{9x\&10x}}

  • \bold{9x+10x=19x}

  • \boxed{\boxed{\bold{Answer:19x+0 \ or \ 19x}}}
  • So,
    \boxed{\boxed{\bold{Your\ answer:19x+0\\eq19x+1}}}
    \checkmark
  • (They don't equal to each other or you could say that they aren't equivalent)

Good luck on your assignment and enjoy your day!
