2x -12 > 0

= 2x > 12

= x > 12/ 2

= x > 6

if the maximum angle of AD is equal to angle AB, then;

= 2x -12 = 48

2x = 48 + 12

2x/ 2 = 60 / 2

x = 30

Therefore, the range of x is; 6 < x < 30
