perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

l- Length

b - Breadth

It is given that length of rectangle is 5 times the breadth.

Let 'x' be the width of rectangle, then length = 5x

To find the value of x

Perimeter = 2(l + b) = 120

2(5x + x) = 120

2 * 6x = 120

6x = 120/2 = 60

x = 60/6 = 10

To find the length and breadth

Breadth = x = 10

Length = 5x = 5 * 10 = 50

To find the area

Area = length * breadth = 50 * 10 = 500 m²
