In any right triangle there are two acute angles sum of them is 90°

∵ The two angles will be complementary if there sum is 90°

∵ cosФ = sinβ

∵ cosФ = sin(90 - Ф)

∴ β = 90 - Ф

∴ β + Ф = 90

∴ β and Ф are complementary
