Lateral inversion is the real or apparent reversal of left and right, or when something is "mirror image." Like if you were wearing a graphic tee with words printed in it, and you look in the mirror, those words would be backwards. A lowercase b would look like a lowercase d, etc

Answer:

Lateral inversion means the apparent reversal of left and right in the mirror image compared with the object

Explanation:

Lateral simply means sideways. In a plane mirror, each point on the image is as far behind the mirror plane as the corresponding point on the object is in front. Therefore the apparent reversal of the mirror image's left and right when compared with the object is called lateral inversion. For example we don't easily perceive our front and back as reversed even though that is what happens when we face a mirror.
