The correct answer is - continental tropical air mass.

If an air mass forms over a land mass, than that air mass is of continental type. Depending on the location of the area where the air masses are forming, they can be cold or warm. In this case, we have an area that is warm, part of which is near the tropics, part bordering with them, thus we will have the formation of a continental tropical air mass.

This type of air masses is characterized by being hot and dry. That results in hot weather, usually with a period of drought, thus very dry. This type of air masses often cause lot of damage to the crops, but also can affect the human health, especially the elderly people.
