Sasha purchased a bag of oranges that weighed 2 kilograms. She removed one juicy orange with a weight of 180 grams from the bag.

How many grams of oranges are still in the bag?

Please help!

We’ll start off knowing that 1kg equals 1000 grams. So what you do from here is you subtract 180 from 1000 because that’s what it weighed. Since it was two kg in total, you’re going to add together your result and that kilogram, equaling out to 1.820kg. I hope this helped!

Hey there!

Answer:

1820 grams

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we need to convert 2 kg to grams.

1 kg = 1,000 g

So 2 kg = 2 * 1000 = 2,000 g

Sasha removed one orange from the bag that weighed 180 grams.

We can subtract to find the number of grams of oranges remaining in the bag.

2,000 - 180 = 1820 g.

There are 1820 grams of oranges remaining in the bag.

Hope this helps!
