What is the purpose of the flower for a plant

The primary purpose of a flower is reproduction of its own . Since the flowers are the reproductive organs of plant, they mediate the joining of it's sperm, contained within pollen inside , to the ovules for contained in the ovary. Pollination is the movement of pollen from the anthers to the stigma.these flowers needs this without these flowers the bees,butterflies, and other incects they wouldn't be here today and it might affect the ecosytem too.
