Part 1

No of people voted in the election =6000

No of people from18to 29 years as a percentage =10%

No of people from 18 to 29 voted =


6000 * 10 / 100 = 600

Part 2

No of people voted in the election = 12000

No of people from 50 to 64 as a percentage=35%

No of people from 50 to 64 voted=


12000 * 35 / 100 = 120 * 35

Part 3

Noof people voted in the election =596

No of people over 65 as a percentage =25%

No of people over 65 voted=


596 * 25 / 100 =
