HELP PLEASE!!!ASAP

Given the graph of the line, identify the slope and y-intercept, and ...

use them to write the equation of the line.

Note: If the slope is an integer, do not write it as a fraction.

Answer:

Slope = 2

Y-Intercept = 4

Equation of Line is y=2x+4

Explanation:

y-intercept is the point in the y-axis, where the line cuts it. So, looking at the graph, the y-intercept would be y = 4

To figure out the slope, we take any two points and calculate using the formula:

m=(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

Where, m is the slope

(x_1,y_1) is the first coordinate, and

(x_2,y_2) is the second coordinate

Let's take two points as: (-2,0) & (-1,2)

Plugging these into the formula we get the slope as:

m=(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)\\m=(2-0)/(-1--2)=(2)/(1)=2

Hence slope is 2

Equation of the line is given as y = mx + b, where m is the slope (in our case 2) and b is the y-intercept (in our case 4). Thus:

Equation of Line:
y=2x+4
