In Chapter 29 Jane is rescued by the Rivers siblings and hears their story, Jane tells them her story and St. John assures her that he will find her a job.
In Chapter 30 Jane becomes friends with the Rivers siblings and after a month St. John finds Jane a job as a charity school runner.
In Chapter 31 Jane gets a cottage to live from Rosamond Oliver an heiress. She continues to work in the charity school job, but she finds it degrading and disappointing. She visits St. John, who confesses to her that will follow the missionary career.
In Chapter 32 Jane achieves success with her students, despite the fact that she gets nightmares with Rochester.
In Chapter 33 St John pays Jane a visit, he tells her the story of Jane Eyre and she suspects he knows it is her. She learns from St. John that she received a fortune of 20,000 pounds from a dead uncle. Jane reveals to St. John that she is Jane Eyre, she also finds out that St. John is her cousin and she is happy with the fact that now she has a family.
In Chapter 34 Jane accepts to go with St. John as a missionary to India, but she lets him know that she will not marry him. He insists she marries him, he gets angry with her denial.
In Chapter 35 St. John continues to push Jane to marry him. At one moment Jane listens to Rochester’s call, she believes he needs her and something fateful has occurred.
