Hello!

The answer is: c.)
5.3x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s) (to the right direction)

Why?

Since it's an inelastic collision, the kinetic energy change after the collision.

Momentum equation is equal to:

p=m*v

Where:

p=momentum\\m=mass\\v=velocity

Bus momentum: (going to the right)

mass=1.5x10^(3)kg\\velocity=20(m)/(s)

p=1.5x10^(3)kg*20(m)/(s)=30x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s)

Car momentum: (going to the left)

mass=9.5x10^(2)kg\\velocity=-26(m)/(s)

p=9.5x10^(2)kg*-26(m)/(s)=-24.7x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s)

The total momentum will be:

T=BusMomentum+CarMomentum\\\\T=30x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s)-24.7x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s)=5.3x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s)

So, the total momentum is
5.3x10^(3)Kg.(m)/(s) (to the right direction)

Have a nice day!
